This Baselinker to Apilo migration started with the bill. A furniture retailer’s new Baselinker price came to about 2,000 GBP a month per market plus a charge per order. Apilo now does the same two jobs for 208 PLN gross a month per market (about 40 GBP) plus a lower charge per order. We moved the client’s stores to Apilo one at a time between June 2025 and February 2026.
The client
The client sells furniture online through regional Magento 2 storefronts. Each regional store is a separate Magento install with its own country websites.
Baselinker had been part of the store since its early years. It did two jobs for the client.
- Subiekt GT. Baselinker connected the stores to Subiekt GT, the client’s ERP and invoicing system.
- Customer emails. Baselinker sent the automated emails that tell customers about their orders.
The client used no marketplaces or multichannel features.
Why the client left Baselinker
In October 2024 news spread of another Baselinker price rise, effective December 2024. The first higher invoices reached sellers in January 2025, as sprzedajewnecie.pl reported. Baselinker’s price changes have pushed many sellers to look at alternatives, as graphcom.pl wrote.
For this client the change came with about one month’s notice. Its new price was about 2,000 GBP a month per market plus a charge per order. This is the price this client faced. It is not a Baselinker list price. Baselinker billed each market separately, as Apilo does now.
In January and February 2025 the client asked us to move it to Apilo.
The cost for one market
The table compares one month for one market, the UK website. Both tools bill each market separately, so the UK and Irish websites each have their own subscription.
| Baselinker (new pricing for this client) | Apilo | |
|---|---|---|
| Subscription | about 2,000 GBP (≈ 10,355 PLN) | 208 PLN gross (≈ 40 GBP) |
| Orders | plus a charge per order | plus a lower charge per order |
Figures in brackets use the ECB reference rate, 7 Oct 2026: 1 GBP = 5.1775 PLN. They are approximate.
Apilo costs about one fiftieth of the Baselinker subscription alone. Both add a charge per order, and Apilo’s is lower.
How the move went
Apilo took over both of Baselinker’s jobs. It runs the Subiekt GT connection and sends the automated customer emails.
Apilo still needs the orders from Magento. Apilo’s built-in Magento integration fell short for this store, so we built our own connector. Our Magento 2 Apilo integration case study tells that part.

We moved one store at a time.
- UK store: on Apilo since June 2025.
- A store with Polish, English and French websites: on Apilo since July 2025.
- Germany and France: on Apilo since February 2026.
The result
- About one fiftieth of the Baselinker subscription. One market costs 208 PLN gross a month in Apilo, about 40 GBP. The new Baselinker price was about 2,000 GBP.
- A lower charge per order. Apilo also charges per order, at a lower rate than the new Baselinker price.
- Both jobs carry on. Apilo runs the Subiekt GT connection and the customer emails.
- Every store sends its orders to Apilo. Our connector pushes them from each Magento website.

Frequently asked questions
Baselinker to Apilo migration
Why did this store move from Baselinker to Apilo?
The cost. Baselinker changed its pricing with about one month's notice. For this client the new price came to about 2,000 GBP a month per market plus a charge per order. The store used Baselinker for two jobs only: the Subiekt GT connection and the automated customer emails.
How much does Apilo cost compared with Baselinker for this store?
Apilo costs this client 208 PLN gross a month per market plus a lower charge per order. The 208 PLN is about 40 GBP at the ECB reference rate of 7 Oct 2026. Baselinker's new pricing for the same client came to about 2,000 GBP a month per market plus a charge per order. The 2,000 GBP figure is the price this client faced and not a Baselinker list price.
Does Apilo bill per market like Baselinker?
Yes, for this client. Apilo bills each market separately, so the UK and Irish websites each have a subscription. Baselinker billed the client per market too.
Can Apilo replace Baselinker for Subiekt GT and customer emails?
It does for this store. Apilo now runs the Subiekt GT connection and the automated customer emails that Baselinker ran before.
Does Apilo connect to Magento 2?
Apilo has a built-in Magento integration. It fell short for this store because it pulled orders from every website of a Magento install and logged in with an admin password. We built a connector that pushes orders from Magento to the Apilo API instead.
