Replace your spreadsheet with a custom web app.

We turn the Excel file your team runs on into a custom web app: one database, a login for each person and the rules from your formulas written as code. A live dashboard reads from the same data. Projects start from $3,000 and you own the code.

When to replace Excel.

A spreadsheet is the right tool until several people depend on it at once. These are the signs it has stopped working.

  • Copies of copies. The file travels by email and nobody knows which version is current.
  • Broken formulas. One pasted row overwrites a formula and the totals drift.
  • No audit trail. Nobody can tell who changed a value or when.
  • Everyone sees everything. A branch, supplier or client needs only their own rows, so someone splits the file by hand.
  • Copy-paste between systems. Someone exports a CSV from one tool and pastes it into another every week.

If only one or two of these apply, a shared online sheet or a no-code spreadsheet to app builder may be enough. Our projects start at $3,000 because they cover the cases those tools miss: several teams, real permissions and links to the systems you already run.

What the web app does.

  • Team-scoped data. Each branch, team or client sees only its own rows from one shared database.
  • Role-based access. Owners, managers and staff get the rights their job needs. Nobody shares a password.
  • Activity log. Every change records who made it and when.
  • Rules from your formulas. The checks that live in cells become tested code. The app rejects a row that breaks a rule and says why.
  • Excel and CSV import. Your team keeps the files it knows during the switch. Reports still export to Excel.
  • A custom dashboard. Live totals and charts read the same records your team edits, with no copy-paste into a report.
  • Two-factor login. Every account can turn on 2FA, so a login needs the phone as well as the password.
  • Links to your other systems. Orders, stock or customer records sync with your ERP, CRM or online store through their APIs. See integrations.

How an Excel to web app project runs.

01

Map the spreadsheet

We go through every tab, formula and macro with the people who use them. You get a written data model and a list of roles.

02

Build the app

One database, the screens each role needs and the rules from your formulas as tested code.

03

Run both side by side

We import your current sheet and run the app next to it. Any difference shows up before the team relies on the app.

04

Switch over

The team moves to the app and the spreadsheet becomes read-only. You get the code and the docs.

Apps we have built.

  • POD Hub for Printify

A team panel on the Printify API. Each assistant gets their own login and role, with 2FA and an order dashboard in place of a shared Google account.

  • Hotel data pipeline for Amadeus Delphi

Hotel staff used to export CSV files by hand. Our Symfony app pulls bookings from Salesforce every 3 hours and keeps each hotel’s data apart.

  • Team access for a VA team

Per-user accounts, scoped permissions and an activity log over a single-login tool.

  • Gougou expense tracker

Our own expense app, built as a simpler alternative to a spending spreadsheet.

What it costs.

Projects start from $3,000 at a fixed scope and price. One spreadsheet and one team is the usual starting point. Each extra team, role or system link adds scope, and we price it before work starts. If a template or an off-the-shelf app covers your sheet, we say so in our reply.

Questions, answered.

How do I turn an Excel spreadsheet into a web app?
Start by listing what the spreadsheet does: the data it holds, the formulas that check it and the people who edit it. That list becomes a database, a set of validation rules and user roles. A developer then builds screens for each role and imports the existing rows, so the team switches without losing history.
How much does it cost to replace Excel with a custom web app?
Our Excel to web app projects start from $3,000 at a fixed scope and price. The final price depends on the number of teams, roles and systems the app connects to. We confirm it in writing before work starts.
Should I use a no-code spreadsheet to app builder instead?
If one team edits the sheet and nobody needs separate permissions, a no-code builder costs less. A custom app pays off when several teams or clients share the data, when each needs different access or when the app has to sync with an ERP, CRM or online store.
Can each team or client see only their own data?
Yes. The app keeps every team's records in one database and tags each row with its owner. Each user sees the rows their team owns, and roles decide who can view, edit or approve them.
Can my team keep using Excel during the switch?
Yes. The app imports Excel and CSV files, so the old sheet keeps working as an input while the team moves over. Reports export back to Excel for anyone who needs a file.
Do I own the code?
Yes. You own all the code we write for your project. We deploy and run the app for you or hand it over to your own developers.

Retire the spreadsheet.

Send us the file or tell us how your team uses it.
We reply with a scoped plan and a fixed price.
